A message from the Executive Director:

Dear Friends,

I started my first steps in the field of Social Services nearly two decades ago. As a young professional and throughout my career I’ve always believed in two basic principles: accountability and empowerment. Those principles are the building blocks of our organizational culture. This is what sets us apart.

At Family Services of Southeast Texas, we are building a culture of support and unity not only within our organization, but also with our survivors and all of the organizations with which we collaborate. Everyone wants to know how their efforts are contributing to our success as a team, and more than that, we all want to feel the connection between the work that we do and the larger purpose of our organization. At the same time, having a personal accountability to the bottom line and looking at issues with an innovative approach has helped us grow tremendously in a very short time. Together we are stronger and as such we are capable of using our resources and passion to empower our survivors, families and our next generation to build a better future for our community.
